Instead of our regular January meeting, we have partnered with Orvis Rochester to bring Tom Rosenbauer to Rochester, NY. Tom Rosenbauer has been a fly fisher for fifty years and was a commercial fly tier by age fourteen. A native of Rochester, NY, Tom grew up fishing Oatka and Spring Creek. His fishing career has allowed him to fish worldwide, and Tom still welcomes the chance to fish these beloved local waters. He has been with the Orvis Company for forty years and has been a fishing-school instructor, copywriter, public relations director, and merchandising manager. He has authored multiple books on fly fishing & tying, has been editor of The Orvis News for ten years and hosts The Orvis Fly-fishing Podcast. Tom currently serves as Chief Enthusiast - Orvis Rod and Tackle.
