Fly Fisher’s Workshop is a fun one-day fly fishing event that provides informative workshops/seminars to promote fly fishing and broaden skills. The workshop will also include seminars on cold water conservation. It’s the largest fly fishing event in Upstate New York! There will be workshop sessions on various topics for beginner to experienced. Multiple workshops are offered each session, so that participants choose based on their interests.

We cover everything from trout, bass, saltwater, fly tying, casting, rod building, leaders, knot tying, and more.
There will be fly tying demos, a community fly tying table, casting demonstrations, casting clinics, industry vendor exhibits, local guides, FOOD TRUCKS, LIVE MUSIC and GREAT RAFFLE PRIZES!!
This year we are expanding our Conservation Outreach to include more family friendly hands-on education. We’re honored to have WXXI Kids Outdoor Resources, RIT Collaborative for Plastic & the Environment, Finger Lakes PRISM, and the entire event will be low waste thanks to Impact Earth Composting!
