Hello Fellow Seth Green TUers,
November is a very busy month. First we have the NY State Council meeting on November 5 at the Altmar hatchery. All TU members are welcome to attend.
Next is our Chapter Meeting on November 15 at the Gander Mountain Store on Jay Scutti Blvd. Our guest speaker will be Craig Dennison and the topic is Strategies For Fly Fishing the West Branch of the Delaware River. So come and learn all about it.
Also the DEC is holding Public Hearing Meeting on Fracking. This is a very important issue on water use and environmental quality, so please come and be heard. The closest two meetings are in Dansville. Both are on November 16, the first is at 1:00 PM and the second is at 6:00 PM in the Dansville Middle School Auditorium.
Now for December, there is no chapter meeting. The chapter board does hold a meeting, but as a holiday dinner. All chapter member and spouses are invited. It will be December 7 at the Scotch and Sirloin. We meet at the bar around 6:00 and eat around 7:00. It’s a good time with good food.
For next year, the Oatka Fish and Game Club are holding a series of fishing conclaves. This is where we tie flies and talk fishing. The dates are Jan. 15, Feb. 12 and March 11.
